Research & intelligence

Evidence before conclusions.

Understand the case. Investigate the counterparty.

Connect legal research with the facts behind a business or dispute. Get a position you can challenge, a dossier you can inspect, and a clear account of what still needs checking.

01 / Counterparty dossier

Follow the ownership, not just the name.

Ask a question in ordinary language. The agent queries the in-house Ukrainian open-data warehouse and assembles the relevant findings.

An evidence trail, not a confidence score.

How evidence is classified · explanatory diagram, not product UI

One exact entity. No merged namesakes.

Resolve by ЄДРПОУ or РНОКПП before combining records.

Report

Registry records inform facts and interpretation. Comparable statements inform calculations. All three belong in the report; interpretation is not proof.

Ownership edges need a source, a role, and an effective date. A shared address alone is not proof of control.

The evidence ledger

Open a finding to see what supports it.

Registry factA founder and their recorded ownership share.

A fact comes from a specific source record. Match the exact entity and retain the role, share, and date recorded there.

Entity record · Effective date + ingestion date

Calculated metricA year-on-year change you can recalculate.

For a non-zero prior value: (current − prior) ÷ prior × 100. The periods, currency, and units must be comparable; the formula belongs beside the result.

Annual statements · Comparable periods and units

InterpretationMajority control deserves a closer look.

An analytical observation, not a registry fact or a risk score. Verify the current ownership and relevant changes before drawing a conclusion.

Analysis of the records · Current official check still required

Build the scope around the decision

People & history
Directors, founders, beneficiaries, registration changes
Finance & trade
Financial trends, procurement, customs
Courts & debt
Case roles, enforcement, bankruptcy
Permissions & compliance
Tax, licences, sanctions, inspections
Property & affiliations
Assets and evidenced relationships

02 / Adversarial analysis

A strong position can face a strong objection.

Ask the agent to build the position, then test the facts and assumptions it depends on. Specialist agents can review alternative readings independently.

Illustrative dispute · not legal advice

The proposed position

“The delivery was accepted.”

Supporting material

A delivery note and the parties’ correspondence.

The opposing argument

“Did the person accepting it have authority?”

Evidence still needed

Authority documents and the complete exchange around acceptance.

What changes if a key assumption is wrong?

  • Applicable legal version
  • Procedural deadlines
  • Limitation periods
  • Wartime timing

Carry forward an evidence matrix, a case timeline, identified gaps, and a roadmap for strengthening the position.

03 / From source to report

Keep the trail. Not just the answer.

Your next research brief

“Prepare a due-diligence dossier for this counterparty. Map ownership, review finances and court exposure, and separate confirmed facts from missing coverage. Then challenge our proposed legal position.”
